Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy thanksgiving to everyone!!

Here is a pic of ammah (my mom) and the boys playing a I spy computer game.

Put the Top Down, Daddy!

We are having car issues with the van, so we put the kids carseats in Sean's mustang and hit up the park. The kids loved having the top down, that is, until Charlie realized the sun would be on him the entire time!

Thanksgiving Feasts

This is the week of Thanksgiving, where we reflect and think of all we are thankful for. I'm thankful for so many things, but one of which is the school the boys attend: St Paul's Preschool. This school has been so supportive and gone above and beyond what they really need to do for our family. The director and teachers go to IEP meetings for Jacksons speech and OT, they stay late to talk over plans for the kids, they put countless extra hours of their personal time before and after they clock out for their students... The list just goes on and on...

This week was the schools Thanksgiving Feast, so I was there Monday and Tuesday to see the boys sing and dance, and enjoy some bread bakes by the kiddos themselves.

Hope everyone enjoys their Holiday and reflect on all they have to be thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Missing buddy

So yesterday Charlie had to bring the class mascot, Buddy, back to his class for another classmate to take home. Charlie was so sad about buddy having to leave our house. He had waited so long to have buddy come to our house and even though it was over the weekend (and not just one full day like other kids have) it just wasn't long enough for Charlie.

Tonight Charlie remembered that Buddy wasn't here. He started crying. So sad! I absolutely adore the love this kid has, for other people and even a class mascot.

Anyways, here is a picture from the weekend of Charlie and Buddy running in the straw maze at the Thomas the Tank Engine event we went to this weekend.

Happy memories :)

Spider bugs

After Charlie got out of school yesterday, the boys and I decided to hit up a park... They played on this spider web thing for about an hour. Charlie was scared initially, but after he told himself "I need to take a deep breath and calm down. Okay, I'm good now!!" he was good to go. That kid has some wise words that we should all listen to!! Jackson was so supportive of Charlie, too. Jack kept encouraging his brother to keep trying and to "trust God". Love it!!!

A weekend with Buddy

On Thursday, Charlie came home with the class mascot, buddy. He had been talking about how all the other kids take buddy home and how he really wanted to - and he finally got his chance!! Charlie was so excited and proud that it was finally his turn to being home the mascot, and it's a great weekend to do so. Tomorrow, we are off to visit Thomas the train and buddy gets to come with us!
